About the Artworks 作品介绍
The two oil paintings are inspired by Monet's “Sunrise.” Although I don't like the overall cold tones of the work, the color scheme highlights the rising red sun in the middle, which creates a sharp contrast that always impresses me. Generally speaking, my two works are different from Monet in color and style, but there are many features and elements that are carried over from Monet's paintings. The first painting resembles “Sunrise,” but I also added some original elements, such as mountains in the background and changed the color tone to a warm one. The second painting is more like a sunrise in my imagination, which deviates from Monet's style, making it warmer and more appealing to the eye, thus more like a picture taken by a camera.
这两幅油画作品是我在受到莫奈的《日出》的启发后画的。我很喜欢莫奈的《日出》，虽然我不是很喜欢作品整体的冷色调，但是冷色调突出了中间冉冉升起的红日，让我印象深刻。我的两幅作品总体上与莫奈的色调和风格都有所差异，但有很多特色和元素都出自莫奈的画。第一幅画更像《日出》，但是我也加入了一些独创的元素，比如背景的山和整体的暖色调。第二幅画更像我自己想象中的日出，偏离了莫奈风格，使得画更暖，也更像一张相机拍下的照片。

I am an incoming freshman at Cranbrook Schools, and I like to try new things as my hobby:) I worked with crayons and pencil when I was 5. At that time I fell in love with expressing my feelings on the drawing board. Unfortunately, I gave up because of time and didn't pick up my paintings until last year. Now, I paint just for fun and I hope to bring others happiness through painting!
我是一位在克瑞布鲁克中学的高中生，平常喜欢每样东西都试一试。在5岁时我第一次接触到了蜡笔和铅笔画，当时懵懂的我马上喜欢上了在画板上抒发自己情绪的感觉，可惜中间因为时间原因放弃，直到去年才把画画重新捡起来。现在的我画画完全是出于兴趣，同时也希望以这种方式给大家带来快乐。
