I am a sophomore from the Webb Schools. I have been painting since I was really little, and I have had inspirations from masterpieces. For me, drawing is a sort of outlet for my emotions. It is my pursuit of beautiful moments in my life. It is also the symphonic poem of light and shadow.

About the Piece 关于作品
Since I lived in a city where it never snows, I have had a strong feeling towards mountains, especially snowy ones. They usually remind me of the quote of Márquez in One Hundred Years of Solitude, "The past was a lie, that memory has no return, that every spring gone by could never be recovered, and that the wildest and most tenacious love was an ephemeral truth in the end."
或许是在城市呆久了（并且是一个很少下雪的城市），从很小的时候就对雪山有种奇妙的感情。它让我想到马尔克斯在百年孤独中写的，"过去都是假的，回忆是一条没有归途的路，以往的一切春天都无法复原，即使最狂乱且坚韧的爱情，归根结底也不过是一种瞬息即逝的现实。"
