About the Poem 关于作品
The inspiration for this poem comes from a song named “Tan Qing Shui He“. The poem depicts an unpleasant love in the old society, in which the girl being described in the poem lost her lover in her youth and was forced to marry another man because of the stress coming from the society. The “auspicious time” in the poem is an irony, as she is going to complete this marriage just at this moment, and is going to separate spiritually with her lover in a dream forever.
这首诗的灵感来源于一首名叫《探清水河》的歌，讲述了一段在旧社会不尽人意的爱情。诗中的“我”是一名女子，在情窦初开的年纪失去了恋人，而后因社会风俗与压力被迫出嫁。诗中所谓“吉时”便是一种反讽。正是在破晓时分，她便要出嫁，终于要与梦中的恋人在精神上也分离开来。
